Gulshan-e-Iqbal is one of the most developed and densely populated neighborhoods of the Karachi metropolis. The area was named after the national poet of the country, “Allama Muhammad Iqbal”, and was developed to offer affordable housing access to middle-class and lower-middle-class residents.
The development in Gulshan-e-Iqbal was initially started back in the 70s at the eastern flank of the city.
